British Fashion Council Releases Nominee List for The Fashion Awards 2016

The nominees of the British Fashion Council’s Fashion Awards 2016 are finally here.

The nominations were just announced at a brunch at Soho House West Hollywood by Dame Natalie Massenet, chairman of the British Fashion Council. Karlie Kloss, an ambassador for the event’s lead partner Swarvoski, and Caroline Rush, BFC’s CEO were also in attendance.

Jonathan Anderson, Alessandro Michele and Christopher Kane are a few of the nominees that stand out, with multiple chances of taking an award home.

The Fashion Awards, while carrying a focus on the British fashion scene, make sure to recognize the talents of intentional brands and designers in categories like International Accessories Designer and International Business Leader.

“The shortlisted nominees prove the incredible talent we are so fortunate to work with both at home and abroad. This year’s ceremony will be thrilling and I look forward to welcoming all our guests to London and to what has become one of the most-anticipated highlights of the global fashion calendar.”
