With winter comes a lot of different things – snow, the celebration of various holidays, and a break from school. But it’s safe to say that the weather isn’t for everyone, especially in parts of Canada where winter can be simply painful and seemingly never-ending. Sound like you? Check out some of these warm weather getaways to turn the heat up:

Feeling a bit more on the adventurous side? This South American country has got your back. Costa Rica is home to rich rainforests, diverse wildlife, and crystal clear waters. If you’re interested in unplugging at the same time, not to worry – there are parts of Costa Rican rainforests where electricity and Internet are practically nonexistent.

With these potential getaways in mind, it’s time to start packing your suitcases! Bon voyage!
