Contemporary fashion designer Margaret Howell kicked off the fourth day of London Fashion Week yesterday, with her first-ever combined womenswear and menswear show.
The 2017 autumn/winter collection of this British design house maintained the simplicity that we’ve seen in the past – ties, blazers, and cashmere basics could be seen throughout the morning’s looks. However, MH could be seen experimenting subtly through its sleeveless waistcoats, oversized sweaters, and looks that weren’t monotone (contrary to the designer’s usual theme). Aprons and bright scarves brought colour to an otherwise neutrally-hued collection.
