Why CFS? Ask Our Alumni!

If you’re still on the fence about applying to CAISA Fashion Show, read what some of our directors from last year’s show had to say about their experiences!

A. 3 amazing years

Q. What is your favourite part about being on the team?
A. Your CFS team will literally become your family. They are people you will want to hang out with outside of meetings, future roommates, and the ones encourage you to do your best. My closest friends are the people I’ve met on the team!

Q. How has CFS shaped your experience at Western?
A. Anyone who knows and have asked me, CFS was the highlight of my university career. You will belong in a family of over 120+ motivated and dedicated execs and models who challenge and push you to do your best not only within the team but also your school life, career, and social life.

You may go into interviews which your interviewer was a part of CFS or had gone to the show and you have something to talk about. You may have gone into Holt Renfrew to fix a button and gotten it done for free because the sales saw and loved the show (both has actually happened). The CFS alumni network is huge and amazing and it is definitely something to be a part of!

Q. What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about joining CFS?
A. Don’t hesitate! The application will take a few minutes but the overall experience will be infinitely rewarding.

Looking forward to 9:30 meetings will be your new favourite thing!
