Still deciding whether you should apply to be a model for CAISA Fashion Show this year? Read what some of our models from last year’s show had to say about their experiences!

How many years have you been in the show?
2 years (3rd and 4th year)

Why did you decide to model for CFS?
I went to see my friends perform in the show and was instantly hooked. The amazing visuals, choreography, and music come together to create an incredible production. It’s a very entertaining spectacle.

What was your favourite part about modelling in the show?
My favourite part was the people I met in CFS. Everyone is so friendly and fun, you can’t help but have a good time whenever you’re practicing with them. Some of my favourite memories from Western are from CFS.

Any advice to those thinking about applying to be a model?
For those applying to be a model, work hard to nail the dance audition. Huge key. Also, be positive, friendly, open, and yourself. CFS is looking to gather awesome people. And finally, stop waiting for next year, APPLY NOW! You’re going to wish you had applied earlier, trust me.

How many years have you been in the show?
2 years

Why did you decide to model for CFS?
I had never imagined myself as a performer (especially to a crowd of that size) but I saw CFS as a great way to combine contributing to charity, with pushing me out of my comfort zone.

What was your favourite part about modelling in the show?
Definitely the people I met through the show. I was fortunate to make some lasting friendships with very genuine people!

Any advice to those thinking about applying to be a model?
Just be yourself, be confident in your abilities, and enjoy every moment of the experience!
