5 Ways to Put a Scarf on It

The weather outside is frightful. For the past few days, it has been cold and damp here on the windswept Western campus.

What better time than now to bust out that scarf that’s been sitting at the bottom of your closet forever? Here are 5 ways you can wear your scarf this fall to add some ‘oomph’ and warmth to your ensemble.

 

The ‘Not-Trying-Too-Hard’

I woke up like this

For a laid-back, ‘I-woke-up-like-this look”, wrap your scarf once around your neck and leave it untied.

The ‘Infinity-on-a-Budget”

Step 1: Knot the two opposite corners of the scarf together to create a circle.

Step 2: Swing it over your head (with the knot at the back) twice.

The Crisscross

Step 1: Drape the scarf across your collarbones.

Step 2: Cross the scarf and bring the ends back to the front.

Step 3: Pass one end through the loop.

Step 4: Pass the other end through the new loop created.

Step 1: Fold your scarf in half and drape around your neck.

Step 2: Feed the top end through the loop.

Step 3: Twist the loop to create a second hole.

Step 4: Feed the bottom end through the second hole. Adjust accordingly.

Step 1: Fold your scarf in half and drape around your neck.

Step 2: Feed the top end through the loop.

Step 3. Take the bottom end and bring it up over and through that same loop.
