Here’s What Went Down at The 2018 Grammy Awards

This year saw the 60th Annual Grammy Awards broadcast live from Madison Square Garders in New York City. With much hype going into the ceremony, JAY-Z entered the night with eight nominations but it was Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar who were the biggest winners of the night.

Bruno Mars won the award of Album of the Year and Song of the Year, whilst Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN” won the award for Best Rap Album, alongside awards for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. The up-and-coming Alessia Cara took the award for Best New Artist.

The night began with Kendrick Lamar performing “XXX”, whilst Kesha stole the night with an emotional perforance of “Praying” as she was joined on stage by Camila Cabello and Bebe Rexha.

Bruno Mars and Cardi B gave a performace of their new hit “Finese”. Whilst Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee performed their summer smash hit “Despacito”.

Notable political speeches came from Janelle Monae, Camila Cabello, Logic and Hiliary Clinton around several political issues, including immigration.
