It’s that time of the year again! CAISA Fashion Show (CFS) model auditions are back and we are so excited to see what this year has in store! One Team, One Dream: that is what CFS values as we couldn’t put together a mesmerizing show without the help of our amazing team and models. We are one dedicated team composed of UWO students motivated to give back to the London community by going beyond our creative projects. This year is going to be the most memorable and we want YOU to be a part of it! We are so excited to tell you guys that we will be returning to an IN-PERSON show this year! So let’s get right into it!
How to be Prepared?
STEP 1: FILL IN YOUR 2022-2023 APPLICATION FORM
2022-2023 model applications are now LIVE! We love getting to know each and every one of you so make sure you fill in the application fully and tell us about yourself. Our models make the show an engaging spectacle and we cannot wait to see what the new group of models have to offer! Applications are due Friday, October 14th (5pm EST) and no prior model experience is needed! If you want to be apart of something special, sit down, grab a couple of your friends, and tell us why you want to be apart of this amazing team.
STEP 2: INVITATIONS
Now that you’ve filled your application, look out for an invitation email from the CFS exec team! This email will include your personal times slot as well as everything else you need to bring!
STEP 3: SHOW US YOUR STYLE!
Whether it’s your favorite pair of joggers or jeans, we would love to see your personal style! Wear something to the auditions that makes you feel AMAZING and expresses who you are! At CFS, fashion is something we are all passionate about, and we want to see that connection with you!
What to Expect?
IN-PERSON AUDITIONS
We are excited to announce that the auditions will be in-person: Bootcamp and Interviews! Come meet some friends, get your groove on and learn some fun choreography!
Model & Main character: Sunday, Oct 16th:
- Time: 9am – 5pm EST (you will get assigned a block of time)
- Location: Physics and Astronomy (Atrium)
PART 1: REGISTRATION:
We will take the attendance of the models coming in, so make sure come in 15 minutes before your designated time slot! We would love to get this auditions moving smoothly and we need your support in doing so!
PART 2: BOOTCAMP
CAISA fashion show is not your typical fashion show, it includes so much more! Along with showing off your aesthetic outfits, our models will also be showcasing a dance routine choreographed by our amazingly talented choreography exec team. Bootcamp will allow you to experience this first hand! Model applicants will be taught a dance routine by our choreography team so get ready to get your freak on! Prior dance experience is not required, so come out, get your groove on and shake out of your comfort zone!
PART 3: A-INTERVIEWS / B-HEADSHOTS / C-RUNWAY
We will have three different stations that you will rotate around until you have finished will all of them! Here are the descriptions for each station:
A: Interviews
CFS loves meeting and connecting with people and we always enjoy seeing new faces during our interviews! Interviews will occur directly after Bootcamp. We love seeing your personality, hearing your stories and would love to see what you can bring to the table!
B: Headshots
We really want to see all the amazing poses that you have in store! Show us what you got- we want to see your confidence and your character shine!
C: Runway
As a model, runways just cannot be ignored! Show us you stride, strut, sprint- whatever that suits your style!
CAISA Fashion show is not just a club, it is one big family! Every year, our team puts on a mesmerizing show and we want YOU to be apart of it! Currently, over $370,000 has been donated to the Children’s Health Foundation. If you love fashion, dance, and want to give back to the community then the CFS model team is for you!
