Going with a friend will not only help you pick out stylish clothes, but it will also be alot more fun. It is also very helpful since you can give your own opinion on certain clothes as well!
Good vs Bad Quality
The absolute number one thing to look out for when thrift is to inspect the wear of the item. Make sure to check the seams, zippers and especially the material of the item. Most of the time, thicker material shirts and hoodies indicate longer durability compared to a thin cotten weave shirt that can easily tear. You don’t want to drop some money on a piece that breaks after a couple weeks!

That burst of excitement you get from finding a hidden gem is one you can’t replace. If your serious about finding one specific item, arrviing early to beat the crowds is a good idea, especially during the weekends. Another good idea is calling your local thrift store and see what there timing schedule is like regarding what day they get new shipments and when they do a floor restock.
